Charlie's 3rd Birthday Part III-Gator Golf!

So, I told you we had to settle for sending NaNa videos as the night progressed. Charlie was REALLY into that!
Time to open those presents!!!
Watching himself on the computer!
Still watching himself.
Uh hum, still watching himself.
Yes, he is a character, and yes, he is STILL watching himself!
Gator Golf!

Well, it sure didn't take him long to get the hang of that!
He can always use a little help from Dada!
Got it again!

He can always get a little closer if he needs to!
More pointers.
I wanted to take this opportunity to sneak in a shot of my...I forgot what this is too. Some sort of Pansey or Calibrocha.
And if he's really feeling unlucky he can put it in with his hand!

There are more than one ways to skin a cat. With adequate force, the gator's tail popps the ball back out. He didn't quite have the strength for that with his club, so he resorted to this!

Charlie's 3rd Birthday Part II-the Web Cam!

We tried our best to get this web cam up and going on NaNa's end so she could see the excitement. My husband, being the computer guru he is, was able to make many videos using this web cam and send them to NaNa during our evening so she would only be a step or two behind. We do what we can in the midst of our separation;)
Evaluating the goods!
Remember the web cam I mentioned? Charlie is waiting patiently for it all to get resolved. We didn't want to proceed with the chance that NaNa could watch.
I wanted to get many face shots of my handsome boy. This birthday he has evolved a plenty. Notice the little freckles? He's getting more and more.

A closer look at the freckles!

Can I open my presents now Mama?
Love these cute feet and love to tickle them too!
More face shots. Told ya I wanted to get plenty!

Thinking about those presents still!
I wanted to take this opportunity to show off this plant. I have forgotten what it is. Anyone know?

Charlie's 3rd Birthday!

We began by playing with streamers. The wind blows enough here, I figured there was no harm in a bunch of confetti.

After popping all of them, we decided to pick up the long pieces and throw them again!

I just love his many expressions!
I asked him to give me a BIG cheese...
and boy...
did he!
He may be a rock star folks!
I just wanted to take this opportunity to show off my potato vine;)
He bonded with the empty poppers!
The aftermath.
More time in the yard.

This was a great beginning for Charlie's celebration. The Lord blessed us with an overcast, cooler day and a good rain that morning.
